Who controls your data

APERIO WORKS LTD, trading as The Colour Circle Project, is the controller of personal data used by The Colour Circle Project and SCREENPRINT. Privacy questions and rights requests can be sent to hello@thecolourcircleproject.com.

What we use

Order and site information.

We may use your name, email, telephone number, delivery and billing details, order choices, payment and transaction references, correspondence, and basic security or device logs. Stripe processes card details; we do not receive your full card number.

For SCREENPRINT, the photograph, approval proof, print master and artwork settings are uploaded only when you continue to checkout and give permission. The browser preview performs file checks but does not upload the photograph for hidden visual inspection.

Why we use it

To fulfil the contract and run the service.

We process order information to take payment, create and deliver the artwork, send confirmation and provide support because it is necessary for our contract with you. We keep accounting and transaction records to meet legal obligations. We use limited technical and correspondence data for security, fraud prevention and service improvement where this is in our legitimate interests and does not override your rights. We rely on consent where the law requires it, including the SCREENPRINT upload permission and any optional marketing or non-essential tracking.

Who receives it

Only the services needed to fulfil the order.

We share relevant data with service providers such as Stripe for payments, Artsy Image for production and delivery, Resend for transactional email, and our website hosting and secure storage providers. We may also disclose information to professional advisers, insurers or public authorities where reasonably necessary or legally required. Providers act under their own terms or data-processing obligations.

Some providers may process data outside the UK. Where required, we use an approved safeguard or rely on another lawful transfer mechanism.

How long we keep it

No longer than necessary.

Unpaid SCREENPRINT artwork packages expire after 24 hours. Paid SCREENPRINT artwork files are normally retained for up to 90 days to make and support the order, then deleted. Order, payment and accounting records are kept for the period required for tax, legal and dispute purposes. Customer correspondence is kept only as long as reasonably needed for support and record-keeping.

Your choices and rights

You remain in control.

Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability, and may withdraw consent without affecting earlier processing. Email us to make a request. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Necessary cookies and local storage keep core features working. We will ask for consent before using non-essential analytics or marketing technologies where required.
